Default some 1 help cpu

hey how u doin
i have a pentium3 wich is running on 450mhz last nite i overclocked it to 525mhz then decided to increase it wen i restarted ir my monitor shut down
my question is wot do u think happend coz i hv no clue in currently studdying computer technician a+ certificate if u took ur time to reply me i wud be gratefull sir or madan thnks im running win xp home win 2000 pro,win 95

Hey man, welcome to HTFC!

Without the info on how exactly you overclocked the CPU (eg what did u change - multiplier, fsb etc.) I can only guess what happened. I'd say that you increased the PCI clock frequency and the video card stopped working at that higher frequency. Try returning the frequency to 450 MHz and then increasing it in smaller steps.
