SIGMATEL STAC 92XX C-Major HD Audio Driver Error

I cant configure my sigmaTel control panel, instead it gives me this:
An exception error occured while trying to run "C:\WINDOWS\system32\shell32.dll,Control_RunDL L" "C:\WINDOWS\system32\stacgui.cpl",SigmaTel Audio"

Then when i click "OK"

this pop up

rundll32.exe - application error
The instruction at "0x0104ce14" referecned memory at "0x00ff2284". The memory could not be "read"

and then again

rundll32.exe - application error
The instruction at "0x0104cae6" referecned memory at "0x00ff5ea8". The memory could not be "read"

i have no idea whats going on..could someone pls help me with this problem?
