Default please help!!

I have an Acer Aspire 7720 laptop and I was told I could install a larger hard drive into it.Is this truth or someone just jerking me around?I also would like to upgrade to 4GB of ram do I just switch out the old 1GB sticks and install the dual 2GB sticks I am so pc illiterate.Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi.

I've been trying to find the specs of the system on the Acer website however that turned out with nothing.
I did find a review of the computer tho and found the specs attached to it.

I don't see how a larger harddrive would be a problem as long as it is of: Serial ATA-150 type.

As for the RAM the system should be able to handle 4GB.
I couldn't find any specs of the motherboard to find the max clock frequenzy and such it could handle so unless you find the motherboard specs I'd recommend getting the 4GB ram in the same speed as your current RAM memories. Just to be on the safe side
