Default My graphics card is not working properly

Images are given in the attachment file. Pls. see the attachment and help me giving a solution.

My motherboard is Gigabyte, Via chipsets, built in A.G.P. Once a day suddenly there was no display and a continuous beep sound was heard. so i connected a 32 MB NVDIA graphics card and the problem was solved. Later I collected another graphics card “RADEON 9800” 256 MB from china. Reading manual i understood that power cable must be connected with the graphics card. But i had not got any power extension cable with the graphics card. So i removed the power cable of the floppy drive and connected it with the graphics card because the connectors are same (4 pins). Then dispay appeard. But the PC doesn’t start normally. Sometimes it needs 2,3,4 or 5 times restart.
There are some other display problems in my computers

In the following picture the menus File, Edit etc are white shaded

//see attachment

In the following figure there are some pink spot surroundings the computer.
//see attachment

I can't be sure whether the installation is successful. Clicking the settings tab and then advanced, the appeared dialog box doesn’t match with the dialog box as shown in the user manual. In my computer the dialog boxes are as follows:
//see attachment

My power supply is P4(400 watt) named Maxin. i didn't get any power
extension cable with the A.G.P card. So i removed the power cable from
the floppy disk drive and connected it to the A.G.P card. When i turn
on the computer,sometimes the following message is displayed "You have
not connected the power extension cable" and causes a continuous beep
sound.After restarting, the computer starts normally.Sometimes it needs
two,three,four or five times restart.

i can't increse resolution above 800 x 600 with screen refresh rate 85
Hertz. When resolution is 1024 x 768 then refresh rate is just 60 Hertz
and the screen vibrates. i want to increase resolution with higher
refresh rate so that the screen doesn't vibrate.

some video files whose extensions are .dat run properly but some other files those are collected
from internet whose extensions are not .dat do not run properly. they run with vague display.

when some files are copied then some pink color lines are displayed in the dialog box that is an anomaly.

Looks pixelated to me as though the resolution isn't high enough... you have confirmed the monitor is OK first of all by trying it elsewhere or trying another one.

Just for curiosity, Rightclick a blank space on the Desktop, Left click properties, open Settings tab... and check the screen resolution.

To remove the AGP driver is easy, Right click My Computer, Left click on Properties... select Hardware Tab, then open Device manager... looking through the list near the top you'll see Display Adapters this is the AGP, click the little + sign and you'll be able to remove, roll back or install the driver.

The beep sound is an error code.... I would go back to basics, disconnect all drives including the hard disc drives and concentrate on booting into he bios, the graphic card will affect boot up... once you can get bios to boot or gain access to the bios set up screen then connect the hard drive and proceed from there.

The reason for disconnecting the hard drive we are shutting any driver conflicts out the equation. Note with out the hard drive connected there will be no AGP driver.....

.... but you should still get a display if the bios is booting ok, if all was well you would see a message something like, 'Hard drive failure' or 'Please insert the disc with the operating system on' etc... simply because the hard drive has been disconnected.
