Question Mobile Processors, Celeron M Processors etc

Hi

Just a bit confused with cpu speeds.

What does the mobile mean and does this change the speed of say a 1.4 mobile and what about a 1.4 Celeron M.

Anyone enlighten me with an explanation would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Max

Hi, welcome aboard.
There might be some explanation in this link Mobile Processors Explained. They are designed to save power, making the battery last longer without a re-charge.
