Default HP XW9300 CPU Heatsink

Hi Im upgrading my computer to a duo core system and I have bought the CPU and memory. My computer is a HP XW 9300 workstation
The problem I have is that the fan assisted heatsink which I bought for the 2nd CPU from HP part number 412100-001 has a clip mechanism to secure it to the motherboard where my motherboard has two screws is there an adapter plate that I can buy to fix this or do I have to locate a heat sink with the screws to fix it to the mother board

thanks for any help on this problem

Chris

Usually when you buy additional cpu cooling you get the base kits for several cpu sockets. Make sure you look through the box the heatsink came with.
If not I suggest you contact HP for help. Might be that they have missed out during the production and you obtained a product missing pieces.
Or in worst case perhaps you can order the base kit for your socket.
