Help With Cd Drive

Hi all..Well... I have a dell dimension 9200c..with a TS-L632D slim 8x DVD +/ - RW...with windows vista installed..The problem is I installed a driver for windows XP thinking it was an update but I didnt notice..now it doesnt want to open not even when it reboots...all lights are ok though and when I put eject it appears "Cd drive is currently in use Save any open files on disc, and then close the files or programs using the files before trying again"

Now it doesnt work and I dont know what to do Id appreaciate any help on how to make it work again mayby a windows vista driver :S or make the driver I installed unistalled

Have you tried to uninstall or rollback the driver in your device manager???

Go control panel, then click on Device Manager, then click on DVD/CD rom drives, then double click the device with the problem, it will open up a new window and then click on "Driver"

Is there a Windows Vista driver available for your drive? If so, install it.
