Default Finding another Thread I read on here.

I find it so frustrating when you first visit a forum site like this one and read up on some threads and posts but when you what to post an answer you have to register then you lose that certain thread...grrr

I have the same problems as this user who posted a thread about Sony SDM-HS73. They stated that when they switch thet monior on they have to end up turing it on and off a few times before it'll get started due to getting to a certain temperature.

The problems I seem to be having have gone on for a few months now and it is so frustrating. When I first switch it on, sometimes nothing happens, or it'll turn to a blue and white screen then after I switch it off and on it'll do the same then the light on the on/off button gets stuck like left on so I have to pull the back out to turn the whole screen off and push it back in. I have to do this a few times. It takes me least 5minutes just to switch my monitor on.

Does anybody else have the same problems with their Sony SDM-HS73 monitor? And if so, can anybody tell me know of the problem and how to deal with it or sort it out so I can have a normal monitor like everybody else?

Hi KarenUK.
That thread would this be it Sony SDM-HS73?, let you into a secret..... go to the very top of this board and click Search in the green bar then type the model number or part of the thread title and it'll find it for you. Have a look here as well Fixya.com.

To be sure we need to isolate the problem, have you tried another monitor or tried it on another unit although it does appear to be the monitor.

Davy
