Identify make and model of ALL the chipsets in the system. Go to websites of
chipset manufacturers to download them. Install motherboard chipset drivers
first ALWAYS. This is the only recourse you have when a computer manufacturer
does not support an earlier or later operating system than shipped with the
computer. Sometimes this does not work. For example, no way no how would you
ever find Windows 98 drivers for your computer. But you would not want to,

Agree. Check for drivers BEFORE upgrading or especially downgrading an
operating system.
