Default New to burning

Hi,

I have Roxio Creator DE ver 9 on my pc (running Vista 32bit).

I have a 64 Mb file (exe) on the pc that I would like to burn to a cd-
r.

I have never done this before.

Do I treat this file as a data disc?

Thanks

ps Any advice on the best burn would be appreciated.

Best wishes

A
