Default Nero - problem

Can someone help me

I recently formatted my system, put everything as before, then put in a
multisession cd-r & tried to back up some data yet Nero 6.6 did not
recognise the previous session. How do I solve this?

Thanks in advance

D.

No there is no yellow exclamation mark on cd drives in Device Manager.
Yes to:
Windows Explorer does show the content of the cd-r
[Nero, Recorder, DiscInfo] say there is Available Capacity.
