Default Better quality CD labels?

X-No-Archive: Yes
Can anyone suggest better quality CD/DVD labels?

I've always used name-brand two-per-sheet paper labels, which print
okay... but in a year or two the label has started to peel or bubble.

Has anyone found a laser-printable label that lasts longer on the
disc?

Thanks!

I know you probably don't want to hear this but labels are just wrong.
printable discs are the way to go. there are many many stories of
damage caused by labels and I have had perfectly good discs which have
hardly been played simply corrupt beyond repair when labels have been
applied.

The best label for an optical disc is the one you don't apply with
adhesive. If you absolutely, positively must print to discs then buy
printable blanks. Stick-on labels are nothing but trouble, period.

I second the advice to not use stick-on labels. I went through a phase a
number of years ago using Neato inkjet stick-on's and learned the hard way
how they are death to car stereos. They will start to lift if left in
player for a couple of hours sun. I've reburned a number of older burns to
get rid of all the labeled stuff. One thing I did notice is that the gloss
label stock is more durable and has less of a problem than the matte finish
ones.
