That is all I can think of. Card is running fine in the PC-DL ASUS
board, WITH the exception of the soft reset using the reset button. Only
time that the PC-DL fails to reset. Power Button on/off fine. Windows
start/restart, shutdown fine. BIOS access and restart fine.
Ran 3dmark05 for about a hour with no problem.
So, I am going to make myself some cables. Use 2 of the 12v rails for
the X1950. The other 2 for HD's/DVD/Fans/Etc. Only thing I can think to
try to get it to run in the DFI board. If that does not work then there
must be some compatibility problem. Or, the overclock. I can try the
defaults and see if that works. I had a ATI 9500 that would not work
over 200FSB in any board I had. 200 was fine. Anything over, no go.
Since the X1950 runs fine in the PC-DL, with the exception of one quirk,
I have to think that the X1950 is ultimately good. I mean, if I threw
out all my PC gear that has a quirk about half or more would have to go,
lol.
