Default HD4850 *2 GB* Card Reviewed

http://guru3d.com/article/radeon-hd-...gddr3-review/7

In "most" games 512 MB is enough even at maximum settings, so the 2 GB card
with its slower-clocked RAM performs slightly worse. The exception here is
Race Driver: GRID, where 2560x1600 4xAA showed a 38% improvement with the 2
GB card over the 512 MB card. Of course, Guru3D neglects to test a 1 GB
card...

Why don't you read the full article for yourself?

The card has one of those flower-shaped heatpipe coolers reminiscent of a
Zalman VF900, so performance should be good.

Would be more interesting if they had tested the 1GB variants. At least
the Sapphire one has the same clock rate like the 512MB version so it
shouldn't be slower (but faster on games that require more gfx memory
than the 512MB variant has to offer). I ordered the Sapphire card,
hopefully it arrives on monday.
