Default Guide Plus

Hi,

for the past 2 weeks or so, when I go to download the new listings, I
frequently get an error saying that there are no listings for the current
date.

Now, starting yesterday, I get no listings (no error either) other than
Cablevision's own Channel guide. I have tried editing the channel
settings, etc, but the only channel that shows as available is the cable
company guide (channel 14 in my area).

I am running Gem Star's Guide Plus version 1.0.0.45, which has been OK up
until recently, and I have the All in wonder XP 9600 running the quite old
9.03 drivers. I have tried upgrading over the years to the appropriate
drivers for this card using the tips provided by the experienced users in
this group, but either because of problems with the new drivers, or me not
liking newer features, I have always gone back to 9.03, which seems to work
great for me.

Has anybody else experienced the guide Plus problems I have mentioned and
figured out what is wrong?

Is there a newer version of Guide Plus to download?

Thanks,

Bob

I noticed it yesterday. All I'm getting is the listing for G4 channel. Was
thinking I updated successfully ~8 days ago.

Update wizard doesn't show anything newer than what I have installed.

Here's a link to report the problem.

I finally got a listing download, but it starts tomorrow, Friday. Strange,
but at least it worked.

I got the D/L today too. Not getting the day of the D/L seems more common
than not.

Turns out the D/L was no good after midnight. Downloaded 3 more times and
still ******* up.

Went back to 9.06.1 to rethink the best way to use with my present hardware.
Going to 9.08 for more testing now so won't be using Guide+. At least not
for scheduling. It's still useful for loading in channel info.
