Can any brave soul install it and tell us what it's like?
"Resolved Issues for the Windows Vista Operating System: A white dot no

It becomes more interesting when you try to actually search for KB article

I knew that. Since I don't use the ati tray tool, the white dot is the last
thing I'd worry about.

Dare I ask as to whether AGP functionality for the X1650 Pro series has been
addressed? Naaah, forget it.
I'm still wondering if I should roll-back to the Crysis hot-fix for the
3870. The more I use 8.1, the more I feel I got better performance under the
hot-fix than 8.1. And now that two updates have been issued and their is no
permanent fix so far for the Crysis game I'm getting itchy to jump back.
What do you think?

Well, I have just been playing Bioshock for an hour there with no problems
at all. My setup is a crossfire 3870- one reference design, the other the
shorter card with the quieter cooler. It was displaying 1920x1600 on a 24"
widescreen monitor with all details set as high as they would go, and it
played flawlessly. Of course, I have been trying to play Medieval 2 on Steam
and it crashes constantly, but I have not tried that yet with the 8.2, Lomac
and Falcon4 AF and FSX run great.
All sadder because Crysis as a game isn't even that good. Playability sucks.
The suit control interface sucks. Perhaps it's just me, but of such a game I
would expect something more than, say, dead bodies lying without the
slightest hint of damage and unaffected by bullets striking them. Not to
mention enemies who take the bullets like they were AirSoft BBs. We had
proper 3D exit wounds 5 years ago in Soldier of Fortune II; there's no
excuse here.
