I'm going by how I see the game run. I play this game way to much for a man
of my age. -- I did two things last month; I installed cat 8.1 over ATI's
Crysis Hot-Fix, and I installed Crysis' update to the program. Now I see
interment shuttering, (can be fixed by reloading the game,) and I have had
to turn off AA or I loose the rectiles within the rifle scopes.
However, I have noticed a markable improvement in HD load time while playing
the game, which manifests itself as a "freeze" in the play while the update
is being loaded. I've also noticed many fixes to things on fire and what
not.
All that stuff you said about the game is true, but when is something better
coming out? It's getting hard to find anything to play on my PC that
interests me anymore. Most of the new games are garbage and I am tired of
being ripped off after going to the trouble of installing a game on my
computer. The game reviewers are worthless - they are just pushing product
for money anymore. And I don't like on-line real time game play. I want
mindless off-line enjoyment entertainment from my game money.
Oh - and I hate DRM. Spin up - down, up - down, 18 times until the disk
settles down to allow a game to start. And don't even think of leaving the
game in the DVD while booting up the computer. NOT!
If I knew who invented DRM, I would **** in their general direction.
