Quake Wars hasn't come out of beta yet. I guess you can call this one of the
hidden enhancements, not mentioned in the release notes. How is the
performance? Wonder if the much-touted mega-texturing actually makes a
difference to image quality.

Wonder if the much-touted mega-texturing actually makes a difference to
image quality.

I find that zooming with a telescopic sight, it all gets a bit pixellated.

After installing the last few Cats, my PC won't hold it's desktop (ATI)
Colour settings, which I've set a bit darker. No matter what prog I run and
even on boot-up, I have to open ATI and click the 're-activate colour
settings' button.

Is there a way around this very tedious problem?
