ATI Catalyst 8.9 is out

Cat 8.9 introduces a new display mode for 1080p @50hz, Overdrive for QUAD
CrossfireX, and OpenGL 3.0 support. A few tweaks for games.


I own an HD4870, nothing new for me. I'm skipping this one.

Hmm, installed 8.9 on my X1900XT Crossfire setup. Lost hardware monitoring
on the slave card in Rivatuner. Otherwise not much has changed.

To make matters more interesting, after a few reboots hardware monitoring on
the slave card is available again.
