I have the ASUS ATI 9550 video card and an old vivo cable (purple) from the
old voodoo 3500 agp video card
I want to be able to use this cable on my video card. the cable has a DVI
connector on it and I want to plug that in & use the rca/s-vid in and out
parts on the cable . Can I do this and if so wot software will I need?
None of the Voodoo3 (retail or OEM) cards could output a digital signal to a
flat panel display. On the 3500, the DVI-*shaped* connector has some pins
dedicated to video-in. Your 9550 is likely hard-wired (diodes) to be
incapable of receiving input signals over the DVI port, so it won't work
with this cable no matter what software you try.
