Default Looking to buy Asus P4P800-VM Motherboard

Does anyone know where I can found stock for this motherboard
(discontined). I am looking to buy a potential of 50-100 pcs,
preferrably at a reputable distribution in US/Canada.

Thanks.

Peter

Intel motherboards tend to last a bit longer in the distribution
channels. For example, the D865GLC is a microATX, with the 865G
chip (implying an AGP slot). Boards with an 865GV chip would not have
an AGP interface, so you'd be stuck with built-in graphics
for those boards.

I think I can see an AGP slot here (brown connector):

I tried searching in the motherboard section of Pricewatch.com
for "D865G" and this is what pops up.

Also, for any retailer listed on Pricewatch, check Resellerratings.com
before you buy. For example, I checked American Design Components
www.adc-ast.com here and this is what they rate:

So the trick is, to find a company with a decent reputation,
and some stock.

The review here, mentions there are different sub-models of that
board, at least one of which comes with no LAN chip. Caveat emptor.

Good luck,

I have the same exact motherboard, and bought another one to build a
machine for a friend with limited financial resources.

I bought on eBay for about $80 and have had no problems.

However, I don't know anyone who has a big quantity of these, and
since it's been discontinued, I doubt you'll find a vendor, especially
if you want new.

It's a great motherboard! I have maxed mine out with 4 GB RAM, and 940
GB in disk storage with 2 IDE's and 1 SATA. My system was expensive
when I bought it, but building a new system with this MB is fairly
inexpensive, especially since I had leftovers from other projects.

Thanks,
Louis
