Generic Temp Monitor Utility?

Are there any generic utilities I can run in windows that would let me
monitor CPU temp? Or is this always mobo manufacturer specific?

I have a gigabyte mobo on an inherited system that I need to watch and
their software unfortunately doesn't work on their own mobo :-(

Totally generic, I'd say no. So in that vein, let us know your M/B &
