Default Driver problems

Motherboard: ASUS P5GC-MX/1333.
Unable to install Realtek High Defination Audio drivers from CD
included with motherboard.
InstallShield starts then reports unable to install.
XP Professional SP-2.
3 Gig RAM
Over 3 Terabytes hard drive space.
Have gone to ASUS website and downloaded & attempted to install updated
drivers.
No success.
Please help.
I await your reply.

Default Re: Driver problems

Had the same problem took over a week to get the dam thing working can't
remember how I won but was a combo of trying different driver packages from
asus and realtek and removing the hardware from device manager and
installing again either in safe mode or the admin profile also make sure the
settings are correct in the bios.
