I recently upgraded bios to latest 1017 and now when I do a restart
(warm boot) I see no POST screen. Previously it would always display the
POST screen (offer to hit delete to enter setup, etc) when a cold or
warm boot occurred. Now POST screen is only visible on power up.
Is there a way to restore the original behavior without going back to
the original bios version? I am not sure what it was?

Actually, I am now running 1018.002 (Beta) in an attempt to fix this
"issue." However, I originally saw the problem with 1017. Thanks for
the suggestion.
