Then you're running a 32-bit OS. That does NOT imply that you processor is
32-bit, as todays 64-bit processors can run 32-bit code just well...

Drivers are 32- or 64-bit depending on what OS version you have
WinXP32 takes 32bit drivers
WinXP64 takes 64bit drivers
