Obtaining the eRecovery password

Recently had this problem and only found 1 answer which took 3 hours
to find and was in french, so thought be handy to post it here.

use partedit32.exe can be found here with instructions

follow there instructions to unhide the partition. i found that
putting hardrive into another pc worked as somehow the bios on the
laptop kept hiding the partition even when this was disabled in the
bios.

once you can see the partition in XP or whatever OS you using, search
that partition for a file called aimdrs.dat. open this file with
notepad and there will be your password.
