Default Empowering Technology

Hi all! Sorry for my bad english.
I got a desk pc Acer Aspire M1641.
I've uninstalled the software Empowering Tech. but, now, I want to restore
my PC to default configuration.
Is it possible? Where to download this software?
A friend of mine tell me I must telephone to Acer for obtaining original
Vista CD/DVD, is it correct?

Bye, LK ;-)

Don't know about Vista, but XP Acers had a utuility to make the
restore disk from the install partition of the hard drive. Best to
make the restore disk when the system is new, but can be done any time
up untill the drive either fails or is reformatted.

I 1ce had a no-go-no-more with an Acer/Vista. I had to press Alt/F10 for
reformatting C: and fresh install Vista.

OK, Thank You All!
At the boot, when the Acer's logo appears, press ALT+F10 repeatedly and
follow the video instructions.

Bye, ellekappa ;-)

Clare, a question. If I remove all the Acer empowering bloatware, with
the ALT + F10 restore work (from the installation partition)?
I ask, because Acer did not supply a Vista installation CD, only the
restore partition.
