Might check the Acer website for the driver. It's always wise to check for
driver availability BEFORE installing an earlier version of an OS.

The Acer Web site has a pretty good selection of all the drivers he
will need.. I found all the basics when I went to a dual boot system
(Acer Aspire 5630. But.. the latest video drivers would not work with
an Alpha Screen saver that I am testing. required a driver from http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Deta...rsion&lang=eng
And.. I have not been able to make my on board camera work... the Acer
drivers give an error message stating I must plug my camera in..
(????) Interestingly I can make it work by starting it from the
Windows Explorer task bar.. However as I never use it... I don't at
the moment care
