acer aspire 5000 system error

how can i fixed or trouble shoot my acer aspire 5000
it was given it to meby my sister but i cant used it becaused when i turn it on
system error appeared in the screen i have little knowledge in electronics repair but not on computers system.pls adviced or tell me what to do to add on my knowledge to about computers.thanks in advance
