I've got a IS7 mobo. I was about to connect a fan to the AUXFAN1 on the
mobo, but to my surprise AUXFAN1 is already in use. There goes tiny cable
from the PSU (Chieftec 360W) to this AUXFAN1.
Any ideas what this cable from PSU to AUXFAN1 are doing?
Re: <IS7> why is there a cable from AUXFAN1 to PSU?

It could well be informing the bios/motherboard about the revs/min of
the
fan inside the PSU.
