an7 and new video card problems

i had a ti 4200 working on it for 5 years and it broke .
i bought a geforce 7300 and i got a 1d post code with it .
anyone have reccomendations for a video card that is compatible
with an abit an7 , and also works with linux ?

my 6800 is still working on my an7, you might wanna check that card in
another machine first.

The 7300 should work. but u wanna make sure the 4200 didnt take the
motherboard with it.

its running with a vanta board now .

was the power connector hooked up on the back of the 7300?
