I have an old computer here (1999) with ABIT VH6 mobo. The computer has one
ISDN card and a old NIC (ISA). I tryed to backup this machine to another
machine in the network but when I boot from DOS I get errors saying it
cannot find the nic.
So I thought something was wrong with the nic and went to my local dealer of
computer stuff. There I bought a D-Link DFE530TX nic.
I removed the old nic and this ISDN card and installed the new nic
But when I try to start the machine now it constantly beeps and nothing is
displayed on the screen
My brother gave me this old computer. It has been stored on a loft for about
5 years (unused for 5 years until I started using it a few weeks ago). When
I got it the comp could start etc.. but not after I installed the new nic
