Default Startup Problem

Small startup problem: the my Computer starts up every time I boot. What
cryptic startup program must I uncheck to stop this? I mean the name to be
unchecked.

I should say "My Computer" box starts up for some unknown reason.

Have you checked your Startup folders (C:\Documents and Settings\All
Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup and C:\Documents and Settings\<your
name>\Start Menu\Programs\Startup)?
