Default Vista SP1 DVD ?

Does anyone yet know of anywhere or anyway that one can obtain a Vista
SP1 DVD, for a nominal charge, that one can use with the product key
that came with one's non-SP Vista DVD?

You don't need a product key to install SP1.

Are you on a high-speed connection? It's a simple download.

Call Microsoft and tell them you are having a you are not receiving SP1 via
Windows Update. I did this also told them I was on dial up so the so the
alternative download was not viable. Takes way to long. They did send me
the disk free of charge.

I think the OP is after an integrated SP1 that can do a clean install of
Vista with the service pack already included
I'd like a 64-bit one :-)

Brian:

You are correct. Others seem to be misunderstanding me. Slipstreaming
SP1 in my original Vista DVD sounds quite problematical, if not
impossible, and I would like to have a Vista DVD with the service pack
integrated into it. There should be some way to get one for a minimal
charge by those who need one. For instance, if I've lost or damaged my
installation DVD, but still have my product key, is there no way to
obtain a new DVD without paying full price for a new product key?

Can you, then, explain how best to slipstream SP3 into the original DVD?

My apolgies... slipstreaming to Vista is not currently supported.

I probably thought I was replying to an XP group.
