When I am watching a video such as those on Yahoo, the video plays for
a period of time and then freezes. Need some ideas for
troubleshooting.
Problem occurs using IE as well as Firefox.
System has 2mb ram, XPS710, Intel core 2, 6600 at 2.40Ghz, Windows XP
Media Center Edition Version 2002 SP2 with all updates, AVG and
Spysweeper up to date and running. 150GB hard drive with 100GB free.
I have not had the problem watching YouTube videos.
tia
Video's received as an e-mail attachment do not hang. Internet
connection is via cable .

visit http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and select custom and install all
updates, including those found under the optional section. restart when
prompted and repeated until there are no more updates available. i know
there is a compatibility issue with certain versions of the dell branded
roxio mydvd generating errors when exited if your pc has media player 11.
perhaps this is somehow related.
