For anyone who is interested, evidently Shuttle has discontinued the
AN35N-Ultra board (which makes me sad, I built a lot of great units
with this board). You can still pick up a board at the Outpost.com
site (Fry's Electronics) for $56. If you do, don't use the supplied
mainboard drivers from Shuttle; go to Nvidia's website and download the
newest Universal chipset drivers. They are way better, and their sound
drivers will really boost your sound quality bigtime.
Here is the direct link; if this doesn't work for some reason, just go
to Outpost.com and type Shuttle in the searchbox.

Sorry Paul, it's kind of long and hopefully it will work. But like I
said in my post, just type www.outpost.com in the URL Address bar and
hit Enter; then type Shuttle in the search box on the splash page. The
board is listed about half way down for $56. I just got my new one,
and its a beauty. I never had one bad board with all the ones I ever
built with.

Remember in my post, go to Nvidia and use their updated chipset drivers
instead of Shuttle's old ones. A world of performance difference!!

I went to the Nvidia web siter. Where do I find the updated chipset
drivers?

No problem Paul-one Google search did it.

Before that, however, let me mention that in life, you will get a lot
further with some courtesy. Rather than demanding information, the
smart dude is a little tactful and courteous, otherwise he may not get
what he wants.
"Thank you" can take you a long way in this world.
