KT7-raid won't boot with geforce4 mx420
anny tip on how to solve this problem?
Latest bios, latest via drivers.

Latest power supply? Sufficient to handle the extra fan and higher power of
the gf4?
Where does the boot die....instantly or after a while?

are you sure the card is okay?

Too long a time ago to remember, but !
- you may never get it to work !
- look up KT7 & problem & geforce & via
- even with the A9 BIOS it needed a [ mofsett ] voltage mod

N.B. [ quickest solution ] ditch the card & get a Radeon |

Thanks for the response guys!
Checked everything, in theory it should work,
Board supports 3.3v agp 2x and 1,5v agp 8x, agp slot is universal, card to,
agp2.0, 3,3v
Read some things about powerproblems.
Card is fine, works in even older msi-board with agp 1x support.
Had this cart lying around, don't wanne spent to much mony for a third rig.
Anny sugestions witch (cheap) card with acceptable 3d qualities will work?

Computer starts but no post!
Blew up the power supply the other day, put in a new 500w psu , put up the
core voltage a little bit, same problem.
read some posts in different forums about it,
Abit sold a geforce4 mx420 for a while (beleave it was called Siluro) so why
doesn't this one work?
the card is a creative 3d blaster.
I have no problem putting the card aside but having read all the
specifications of the board and card the conclusion can only be that it
should work.
