My computer died. When it tries to boot it stops at C1.
I removed the HD, CD, & all cards & still get C1.
Any suggestions? MoBo? CPU? |

Almost certainly memory. If you are using two DIMMS, take one out
and try - swap with the other DIMM and try - swap into the other socket
and try. Borrow one to try.
Check out the capacitors, the tall electrolytic ones for domed/leaking
tops, gunge on the PCB, caps leaning over.
