Hello!
Win98 SE does not seem to read CD-ROMs anymore. It can eject and load CD's
but doesn't seem to be able to read anything. Can this be a matter of
updating the driver? I use a LITEON LTD 163D DVD/CD-ROM drive.
Also, when trying to run Scandisk from Windows, I get a message telling me
"out of memory, please close any open program and try again". But no other
program is running. Is there a connection here, maybe?
Thanks for any help!

Suggest running virus scanners first. |
There are Microsoft news groups dedicated to each OS. Try there for the expert
help you might need.
Scandisk or defrag?
Good Luck.
