Take a look at the assembly guide here <http://www.esc-ca.com/> and
there're some useful docs at <www.amd.com>. Search at Google for lots more

Depends how good you are with a screwdriver and delicate components.
AFAIK, apart from the pros here, most of us got started by taking apart
factory built systems to repair/upgrade. Starting with a dual Opteron
seems a bit ambitious but doable if you are adept.
