First of all , is it the same bios?
I tracked it down since I see some markings on the board and the
K7vmm2 is listed as a replacement board for T2082 emachines system.
From the markings it seems to be a 1.0A version.
I flashed the ECS 3.0 bios and it killed the board.
First of all from ECSes lame site - I take it now that I reread it I
hope it means you should anything up to 1.1 unless you have a certain
chip which I apparently dont have.
Or does emachines use their own personal bios on a slightly customized
ecs board?
And can you recover by flashing on a boot disk? Some sites say minimal
functions are protected by a bad flash on most boards since 2000 or so
, so its possible to flash with an autoexec bat file. |
