|
|
Hello. My cableco, RCN provided an Aska splitter. My other cableco gave me
a viewsonics splitter which was unused and I brought it with me.
I get worse signal levels with the Viewsonics. However the Aska is rated
better on the return path and other specs other than insertion noise.
Which splitter is the better one to use for cablemodem?
Thanks. |

I'd go with the Viewsonics. Aska has only 1 blocking capacitor on the
input, rather than 1 on each leg.
CIAO!
