please tell me is it possible to download 3Dprof somewhere for overclocking
radeon cards (9700) that was before part of omega drivers. i installed
yesterday the newest omega (cat 4.4) but there is no 3dprof any more but
radlinker or wathewer it is called. i don't like it because most of the time
i work in windows where i don't need overclocked card and 3dprof had those
nice profiles for each game so in win you have default settings and in every
game as you wish. thanks.

May I suggest RadLinker (not with omega, seperate)? Or how about Rage3D.
Both can do the same you need.

well i have radlinker install with newest omega, and yesterday i saw that it
is possible to have different profile for every game like with 3dprof. but
why should i install it separate of omega. is it different or what. I used
Rage3D before when i had 9500 but after i bought 9700 it doesn't work with
it. i supose my card has some of those protections for overclocking maybe.
thanks.

Only the cards of 9600/se, 9200/se series are overclocking locked within
drivers. You can install omega drivers to enable overclock.

These driver restrictions affect all programs, radlinker 3dprof or what.

I think when installed the seperate version, it gives some more options of
tweaking the AA and AF, as well as profile for games (through shortcut on
desktop). I don't believe omega bundled Radlinker has those options.
Also note that what comes with omega, is known as Radclocker previously.
While RadLinker is something more complex.

Latest version is always there. Homepage is here:

http://home.tiscalinet.de/bertw/proj/tdprof/3dprof_en.html

English support thread is here:

http://www.rage3d.com/board/showthread.php?s=&threadid=33695883

The creator has posted instructions to add preliminary Temporal
Anti-Aliasing support to 3DProf at the end of that support thread.

Just confirmed. Omega ships a stripped version of Radlinker. While the
original, complete Radlinker offers much more. Latest Radclocker is version
1.008 .
