Hi there!
I just asked myself how I can read the real temperature of my
Athlon XP 3000+ (Barton) CPU. Since the BIOS only shows the temperature of
the socket diode but the Barton CPU has got an internal diode itself,
there should be a way to read this.
Any ideas how to get the internal diode's temperature? The winbond chip
(onboard) is capable of reading the internal diode, but it seems that it
is not used by the mainboard :(
Any hints?
Regards,

Heinz
Sorry, the internal diode is used only for thermal shutdown during overheat.
The sensor on the board is displayed to the user.

Ok, thank you. Great mainboard anyway!
