hi all,
I recently started burning some video files onto Memorex Print
700MB/52X CD-Rs (the type where you can print directly onto the label
after burning).
These video files now stutter when played back from disc, whereas the
exact same files on a regular CD-R have no problem.
Therefore, I think these Memorex Print CD-R discs have a big
performance problem. Is this a known issue?

To add further data, I did some tests with Ahead's Nero CD Speed
Utility. While a competitor's disc, when burnt, had access times
under 200 msec, the Memorex printable CD-Rs had access times over 1800
msec. There's something seriously wrong with them.
