I have a 4 year old Dell Dimeension with a combo CD-DVD. It is a "read
only" setup. When I run a CD, the drive sounds like it is slowing
down, almost to a stop, then it gets up to speed, slows again, etc. I
wonder if I have overloaded the electrical circuit or if I should grab
the WD-40.(Just kidding). Also, I've NEVER used the DVD and never
will. Any ideas? Thanks, ed
