While adding 100 mb new files to a cd-r, Adaptec Easy CD-Creator asked if I
wanted to make a new volume - and I accidentally clicked 'yes'. Now I can't
see the 200 mb files that alreay were on the cd-r anymore. They still must
be there, because both Adaptec and Windows Explorer indicate that 300 mb is
taken. How can I access the files that I can't see anymore? |

I think what you did was create a new index and the cd does not know
the other data is there anymore. Specialized tools for crashed hard
drive recovery might be able to recover the data, then you would have
to reindex it. check for "hard drive recovery tools emergency" or
something like that and see if they work on cds.
good luck, I am curious to see if you can.
