Hi

I have a new LG CD burner which came bundled with Nero 5.5.9.9,
i tried a test burn of my data of 40MB which went off well, I did use the
multisession option.
Next I tried adding some more data (300 MB approx), the burn process went
through fully but I the Cd does not have the old or new data !!.

Need help please, my Idea of buying a burner was to burn CDRs in
multisession and keep adding info. periodically , for ex. digital photos of
my Son, so that I have a digital album and this kind of errors spoils the
whole scene.

Any pointers or web sites connected to general CD burning issues, especially
multisession would be most helpful

THANKS IN ADVANCE

What they don't tell you when you start using multisession is that
Windows doesn't really have any native support for reading
multisession discs. You need to install a special software that will
allow you to view all tracks in a multisession disc. I did a search
once, and it mentioned that Nero has a utility called Multiread or
something like that which is supposed to come with Nero. But I've
never seen in my Nero directory.

If you want to recover previously saved CD sessions in Nero, then
simply put the disc back in the drive, and then open up Nero, and then
display Disc information from it. You'll see the multiple sessions
listed there. Just click on each multisession track, and save it disk,
and then you can reburn it to a single non-multisession disc again.

I use Windows 95 and have several multisession CDs that are not finalised
and can access all of the sessions on them. Don't have nero or anything
like it installed here.
