Hello,

I've been using ClonyXXL for quite a while now and I've never had any
considerable problems. I do have to install an ASPI layer on some PC I use
the program on, and version 4.60 was advised as the best one. Uptil now,
this has worked for me every time.

However, my school purchased a numer of new PC's and I'm not sure if they
are the problem, but I can't get an ASPI layer installed on them. The PC's
run Windows XP. Whenever I run aspi.bat I get the error that the file cannot
find a certain amount of other files, even though they are located in the
same folder as aspi.bat itself. I therefore can't install the layer. Someone
already advised me to try ForceASPI, but that didn't work either. After
running those files according to the instructions, the mini-program says the
layer is installed, but when I run aspi check, there is no sign of the new
layer, even after a reboot.

I'm at a loss of what I have to do now. Is there some kind of conflict with
programs that I should think of? Are there other versions of ASPI out there
that would be compatitble with ClonyXXL?

Thanks in advance for any hints,

Lenny

Put a copy of Nero's wnaspi32.dll file in the ClonyXXL folder.
If you are running Nero you'll find it in the Nero folder. If not you can
get it from the Nero web site.
This technique works with many applications that require ASPI under Windows
XP - and certainly does with ClonyXXL.
