Hi Group...
I've just (this very day) started gatting a "power calibration" error when
burning CD's with my old TEAC 512EB. I've updated the firmware to latest
version but it's not burning anything... just stops saying "power
calibration error" after a long time trying to write the lead in.
Using Nero 5.5.10.56
Strangely... It's just started happening when using some new Infiniti 730mb
Discs... my other burner has no problems with these discs... Plus...
I tried an older disc that I had lying around and the TEAC seemed okay with
it... this was a 700mb disc I believe.
Anyone know anything about this?

Sounds like the burner just don't like the Infiniti discs. Count your
blessings that it's not the burner that's gone south.
